How long had she been standing there? Lana was suddenly aware of just how long she had been staring at the golden knob of the door. How long have I been standing here…? She thought. In her hand was a tray, a tray with a pot of tea and two cups, as per Cecille’s requests. Lana was garbed in the customary maid uniform, a frilly affair done up with fine fabrics and an apron, her hair blue and short with two perky cat ears atop it. Her tail swayed, moving her broad skirt around as she pondered.
